Q6:Is this product compatible with android applications?
It's a screen with a touch input only so it can't run any apps. However you could output video from an Android device to this screen, but without getting into custom drivers you won't be able to use the touch input from the monitor.
Q7. How can I clean the touchscreen?
You can periodically clean the glass touch screen surface using an isopropyl alcohol and water solution ratio of 50:50. You can also use straight isopropyl alcohol or any proprietary glass neutral cleaner. Apply the cleaner with a soft, lint free cloth. Always dampen the cloth and then clean the screen, be sure to spray the cleaner onto the cloth, not the screen.
Q8. How can I improve the touchscreen sensitivity?
If the touchscreen shows low sensitivity, you can adjust the sensitivity level in the touch driver control panel. Level Four is recommended.
Q9. How can I solve the drifting problem?
A drifting problem occurs when you touch the screen, the cursor does not move to the intended location. If the drifting of the cursor is regular, you can solve the problem by calibration; if the drifting of the cursor is irregular, there is probably interference around the touch system, and you can adjust the sensitivity level to a lower one.
Q10. Will the dust affect the touch performance?
The dust in the viewing area of the display will not affect the touch performance. However, too many dusts accumulated around the reflection strips area will lead to the malfunction of the touchscreen. This generally happens to SAW touchscreen and can be solved by clearing the dusts. PCT technology offers SAW water-pro and dust-pro touchscreens.
